PBIS
WHAT IS IT?
PBIS is a framework or approach for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for all students. PBIS IS NOT a packaged curriculum, scripted intervention, or manualized strategy.
PBIS/Academic Highlights from the 2017-2018 School year:

Referrals were down significantly from the previous year

Restorative practices were implemented and proved to be successful

HS Students earned an average of 3.6 credits in the Fall of 2017 and 3.9 credits in the Spring of 2018

Eighty-nine percent of the MS students earned enough quality points to be promoted to the next grade

Many of our students got back on track to avoid being retained or got back on the track towards graduation

Forty of our HiSET graduates earned their HiSET Diploma
